Sultan completed his education at McGill University in Canada. Subsequently, he worked as a Visiting Endo-Vascular Neuro-Interventionalist Consultant at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre. Later, he held the position of a professor at King Khalid University. In his current role, Sultan is the head of Neuro-interventional and Endo-Vascular-Neurosurgery services. He serves as an Interventional Neuroradiologist and Endovascular Neurosurgery Consultant, and he is actively involved in the establishment of INR (Interventional Neuroradiology) services.
